Privacy Policy
Elan Legacy Holdings LLC, DBA Elan Bridal, a North Carolina, USA company, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website, use our wedding-planning services, contact us, or authorize a connected social account.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
Elan Legacy Holdings LLC does business as Elan Bridal, branded as Élan Bridal. Our business mailing address is 10 Fenton Main St, Cary, NC 27511, USA. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@elanbridal.app.
This policy covers Élan’s handling of information. External services, including social platforms and payment providers, also have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Provide other people’s information only when you are entitled to share it, and explain its use to them. Avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information, identity documents, financial credentials, or confidential material you are not permitted to share.
- Account and contact information: identifiers, email addresses, profile details, sign-in information made available by our authentication provider, support correspondence, and communication preferences.
- Wedding-planning information: wedding dates, locations, preferences, budgets, expenses, vendors, tasks, calendar items, Wedding DNA answers, and decisions you save.
- Guest and wedding-party information: names, contact details, invitation groups, RSVP responses, meal or accessibility information you provide, responsibilities, and Wedding Circle messages.
- Uploaded or submitted material: documents, contracts, spreadsheets, inspiration images, Vision Board sources, questionnaires, prompts, and related extracted information or generated guidance.
- Purchase information: selected offers, payment status, transaction references, and access entitlements. Stripe processes payment-card details; do not put card numbers in planning notes or support messages.
- Technical and usage information: browser or device information, network information, timestamps, consent choices, operational logs, and permitted visit or interaction events. Optional marketing measurement is described below.
3. Why we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; personalize planning; manage guests, invitations, responsibilities, documents, and reminders; provide AI-assisted guidance and selected human review; process purchases; respond to support requests; prevent misuse; maintain reliable services; and meet legal obligations.
We also use information for requested communications and, where permitted and consistent with your choices, to understand website use and measure marketing. When applicable privacy law requires a lawful basis, we rely on performance of our agreement with you, your consent, legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as service security and improvement, subject to your applicable rights. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
4. Documents, Vision Board, and AI-assisted features
When you use AI-assisted features, relevant prompts, document text or images, inspiration, and wedding context may be sent to AI service providers to produce the requested analysis or response. Results and supporting information may be saved to your wedding workspace. A Vision Board source can also link to an external website, which handles visits under its own policy.
AI output can be inaccurate. Review extracted details against the original material before acting on dates, amounts, or recommendations. Document analysis is planning guidance, not legal advice.
Provider handling of submitted content is subject to the applicable provider arrangements and terms. This policy does not promise that every provider has identical retention or model-training practices. Contact us before submitting material if you need clarification about a particular AI feature or provider.
5. Wedding Circle and human review
Wedding Circle makes role-appropriate messages and responsibilities available to relevant participants. Joining a wedding party does not by itself give access to the couple’s private documents or owner tools. Information you deliberately share with another participant may remain available to that person outside Élan.
White Glove review uses a separate submission and consent process for selected materials. Authorized personnel may access information needed to deliver a requested review, provide support, investigate abuse, or maintain the service. This is not a promise of unrestricted access to every part of your wedding workspace.
6. Facebook, Instagram, and other social connections
If you authorize a social connection, Élan and its integration infrastructure may receive account or Page identifiers, names, authorized permissions, access credentials, media, captions, publishing status, and platform responses, depending on the permissions you grant and the features you use. We use this information to identify the authorized destination and support requested previews, publishing, scheduling, and status checks where those features are available.
Connecting a platform does not mean every publishing feature is enabled. Social-publishing tools are separate from couples’ private planning data; connecting a social account does not authorize posting private wedding documents or Wedding Circle messages.
You can revoke access through the social platform’s app or business-integration settings and, where applicable, disconnect the integration in Replit. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not automatically delete stored drafts, records we must retain, or posts already published on the platform. See the deletion instructions below for stored information.
7. Service providers and other disclosures
We use providers for hosting and storage, authentication, payments, email delivery, AI processing, and authorized social connections. Current services include Replit, Clerk, Stripe, and Resend; owner-created narration may use ElevenLabs. Other providers may be used for particular features. We share information relevant to their services rather than making the private planning workspace public.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or support a business transaction such as a merger or transfer, subject to applicable protections. We also share information when you request or authorize us to do so.
Optional advertising measurement can disclose permitted event and technical information to advertising providers. Private document contents, private messages, and planning-form answers are not intended as marketing event content. If you have questions about a disclosure or its treatment under a local sale or sharing definition, contact us.
8. Cookies, storage, and privacy choices
Essential cookies or local storage support functions such as sign-in, security, and remembering settings. The “Privacy choices” control lets you allow or decline optional first-party visit reporting, Meta conversion measurement, and Google Tag Manager measurement. Optional measurement starts only after you allow it. You can change that choice later.
Your browser may also let you block or delete cookies, although doing so can affect account functions. Where detected, Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals disable optional measurement in the site’s consent check. This does not stop essential operational processing.
Marketing measurement is not a recording of private document contents or messages. Visits, sample interactions, registrations, and verified payments are different events. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using a provided unsubscribe option or by contacting us; necessary service communications may still be sent.
9. Retention and security
Retention depends on the purpose and type of information, account and wedding activity, support needs, legal and accounting requirements, fraud prevention, disputes, and backup lifecycles. We do not promise a single retention period for every record. Contact us for information about particular material or to request deletion.
We use access restrictions and other technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system or transmission method is completely secure. Keep your account and invitation credentials private, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Removing an item from a screen does not necessarily remove all related records or backup copies immediately. Where applicable, information may need to be retained for legal obligations, security, or the establishment or defense of claims.
10. Your rights and data deletion instructions
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent, or an objection to certain processing. Rights can have exceptions. We may need to verify your identity and authority without requesting your password, platform token, or App Secret.
To request deletion of an Élan account or information received through Facebook or Instagram, email hello@elanbridal.app with the subject “Data deletion request.” Identify the email associated with Élan and, if relevant, the connected platform and public account or Page name. You do not need to sign in to send a request. Do not email credentials or unnecessary sensitive information.
We will review the request, seek only the verification needed, and explain its scope, any information that must be retained, and completion or next steps, in accordance with applicable law. Disconnecting an integration alone is not a request to erase all Élan records. Deleting Élan data does not delete your Facebook or Instagram account or automatically remove published posts from those platforms.
If you are a guest or party member, you can contact us directly about information held about you. Where a request affects another person’s wedding records, we will consider their rights and our obligations as well.
11. International processing and complaints
Élan is operated from the United States and is intended to serve people in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Our providers may process information in the United States or other countries, where privacy laws can differ from those where you live. Where required, international transfers must use applicable legal safeguards. Contact us for details about safeguards relevant to your information.
You may contact us with a privacy concern or to challenge a response. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also complain to the appropriate regulator, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or an applicable provincial authority, or an appropriate US regulator. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory privacy rights.
12. Younger users
Wedding management and purchases are intended for adults. Limited invitation-only wedding-party participation is intended for people aged 16 or older; Élan is not directed to children under 16. Do not submit a child’s unnecessary personal information. If you believe information about a child has been provided improperly, contact us so we can assess and address it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice or seek consent where applicable law requires it.
