How to · plan together
Give your people a role—not a guessing game.
A group chat is useful for conversation. It is less useful as the only record of who agreed to do what. Start with a small, explicit set of responsibilities.
1. Ask before assigning
Check availability, comfort, and any cost before asking someone to take a role. Titles do not automatically mean someone can plan events, pay for purchases, or be available all day.
2. Make the task specific
- Name the outcome: “Confirm suit fittings” is clearer than “Handle attire.”
- Agree who owns it, who needs to help, and when an update is needed.
- Keep private couple decisions, sensitive budget details, and contracts out of a general party conversation.
3. Keep updates where the task lives
Wedding Circle brings role-based responsibilities and messages together. Party members can see the responsibilities shared with them and report progress without receiving the couple’s entire private wedding desk.
